Why it looks real

Light that behaves
like light.

Photon Glow spreads light the way it does in the real world: a bright, tight core and a long, soft haze. No banding, no dark rims around your text, no shimmer when the glow moves.

On the Premiere timeline

No round trip.
No Dynamic Link.

Photon Glow runs natively in Premiere Pro, so editors get a high-end glow right where they cut. It plays back in real time at 1080p, and NVIDIA GPUs render it even faster.

Full control when you need it

Simple on top.
Deep underneath.

  • Threshold with live preview: glow only the highlights of your footage.
  • Glow Over Source: glowing letters, or crisp text with the glow behind it.
  • Tint: original colours, one colour, or a core-to-edge gradient.
  • Red, green and blue spread for lens-like fringes.
  • Aspect ratio for anamorphic streaks.
  • Glow from alpha, so even black text can glow.
  • White-Hot Core, highlight rolloff, Add or Screen blending.

FAQ

Questions? Answers.

Does it work in Premiere Pro without After Effects?

Yes. Photon Glow runs natively in Premiere Pro. You don't need After Effects or Dynamic Link.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The trial has every feature and no time limit. Renders show a "PHOTON GLOW – TRIAL" watermark until you activate a license.

Does it use my GPU?

On NVIDIA graphics cards it renders with CUDA in both apps. On other PCs it uses a fast multithreaded CPU renderer; 1080p plays in real time on a modern laptop processor.

Is there a Mac version?

Not yet. Photon Glow 1.0 is for Windows; a Mac version is planned.

My glow is cut off at the edge of a title in Premiere Pro.

Premiere Pro can't draw outside a small graphic. Put Photon Glow on an adjustment layer above the title, or nest the title.

How many computers can I use it on?

One license activates on 2 computers that you use, for example a desktop and a laptop. You can move a license by deactivating it on one computer.
